Which wetsuit should you buy

O'Neill Wetsuits, Rip Curl Wetsuits, Xcel, Quiksilver and Alder. Depending on the time of year you wish to surf, level of ability and the amount of cash your willing to part with will play a key role in purchasing your next wetsuit.
Your choice will be based upon the conditions you plan surfing in. For cold weather surfers you will be looking for a winter wetsuit which is made from a thicker layer of neoprene, 5-3mm thick, if you prefer summer surfing you might even choose a shortie (wetsuit with short sleeves and legs). Winter and Summer wet suits are available for both mens wetsuits and ladies wetsuits.
Full length wetsuits ranging from 2mm - 6mm thickness
A must in the cold winter months, a neoprene of 5/3mm thickness is the minimum requirement in UK waters during the months from November - March if you plan to be surfing for more than 10 minutes. Don't forget to combine boots, gloves and a hood, the hardy surfer may disregard some of the above accessories.
