Shortstraw is an art-based surf wear brand that has been built on the joy of foam dancing in all its manifestations. We look back with great fondness to pre-war Hawaii and its original innovators, as well as California in the 50’s and 60’s and its smooth stylemasters, the wild trailblazers of Australia in the late 60’s and 70’s, to the present free-thinking watermen who embody a new time of openness, reverence and genuine stoke for difference and variety.

Shortstraw offers a refreshing, but less traveled approach to surf wear; with finely tuned shorter trunks, custom painted yardage patterns and quirky surf speak, all conceived by a crew that favours the glide, above all else.
