Jack O'Neill opened his first surf shop in the 1950's when surfing was becoming an increasingly popular sport. It all began in a garage across the Great Highway in San Francisco, a sand dune away from his favourite bodysurfing break. This is where O'Neill first glued together pieces of closed cell foam as his first wetsuits. From that very garage, O'Neill expanded the average surfer's playground from Steamer Lane to J-Bay, and from Antarctica to those fun reef breaks off the coast of Iceland. Thanks to Jack O'Neill, "It's always summer on the inside."
With a history spanning over fifty years, no one can deny that O'Neill wetsuits have had the time to work their way into the top of the range bracket, although still labelled with competitive prices. Up there with the best, O'Neill wetsuits have earned themselves a reputation that means the name itself is a watch word for surfers and indicates style and good taste. Here at Transsurf, the staff would like to personally recommend O'Neill wetsuits as being one of the best around.
