FCS's latest innovation in fin design and construction introduces the brand new 2010 model H-3 Nexus. The H-3 Nexus fin is a progression from the ground breaking H-2 design in construction that was critically acclaimed. The H-3 takes it's place as the top of the range thruster fin set with untouchable performance through drive and hold. Described by many pro surfers as the ultimate set of fins for ultimate performance. If yo could just have one set of fins then the H-3 Nexus would be the ones.

Specification

The Ultra Light Epoxy construction gives the fins the lightest of weight engineered with Bi-axial Carbon and Uni-directional Kevlar to guarantee the integrity of the flex and foils. Carbon provides stiffness in the base while allowing appropriate flex patterns from the mid to tip of the fin.

Tricoil Technology
Tricoil technology provides multi-directional flex patterns for generating energy and de-coils through turns to release speed and give increased acceleration. This process produces a slingshot, or whipping effect as the surfer transitions through a turning arc. The key to this unique feature is the engineered Bi-axial Carbon and Uni-directional Kevlar, with the elliptic template, cambered foiled, and the RTM construction process.

Elliptical Template
Enhances flex, generates exceptional speed, and minimizes cavitation and water separation.
Inspired from the H-2 template featuring a more contemporary outline.
Longer base increases drive, moderate volume in the tip enhances the flex and coil characteristics, smooth transitional trailing edge reduces water separation.

Foil
Heavily cambered foil at the base transitions to a low cambered foil in the tip.
Provides a balance of drive and hold versus stability and control.
Key elements in the hydrodynamic H-2 foil have been applied to the FCS H-3 NEXUS.
